How to make traditional Mexican Chilli Salsa recipe
This Mexican salsa is also a base for many dishes, but many Mexican dishes are served with this salsa also. So on the right I'm making Frijoles which I make every few weeks, I make a lot and freeze some click here for recipe
So look at the pan on the left and you can see a dry frying pan with slightly blackened tomatoes, large red chillies and some green ones all with their stalks on, oh and a clove of garlic - at this point they are about half way to colouring.
When they are ready remove the stalks and put in the container you use with a stick blender add a bunch of spring onions or half an onion and blend. And that's it.
When you have made this don't use a metal spoon with it as it seems to take away the heat, use a wooden one instead.
