Slow Cooker Beef Short Ribs Recipe
Beef short ribs with a fantastic red wine gravy over mashed potatoes is the meat and sauce lovers dream., and dreams can come true. 

Ingredients:-

Four beef short ribs
Garlic
Beef stock
Carrots
Leeks
Bay leaf, thyme
Seasoning
Red wine
To finish sauce, mushrooms and bacon

Brown the meat in a little olive oil and butter take your time, turning over and over, in fact take a look at the beef ribs in the picture above, they show how caramalisation should be. Add garlic, leeks or onion and carrots and herbs fry and for a few minutes and then deglaze with half a bottle of red wine, reduce for for a couple of minutes till the wine has reduced to half. Add the beef back in and then add beef stock to just about cover and switch on your crock pot and go to work.

Returning put some pots on to boil and some veg of your choice. In a little oil gently fry some bacon pieces and some mushrooms until the bacon becomes crispy. Remove the meat from the sauce and strain the gravy through a seive and then return to the pan add the meat. Leave till you are ready to serve, plate and add bacon pieces and mushrooms over the plate.
