German Style Coleslaw - Easy, and probably the best you'll ever taste

German Style Coleslaw

Supermarket coleslaw is mediocre, dull, boring and dreary. You can make this large amount of amazing slaw for about the same cost as one pot of Morribobs posh stuff.

Thing is with coleslaw is that the supermarket stuff, even their good stuff doesn't lift your fare, it's just part of it and is passed over.. Everyone who tries this recipe will notice the difference and want the recipe.

There's a technique to making great coleslaw tho and it's this, using a cheese grater, grate some cabbage and an onion and a carrot or two finely into a large bowl, sprinkle with a little salt and mix well, leave for ten minutes then massage the mix with your hands for a couple of minutes and squeeze out as much liquid as possible, you will be surprised by the amount of liquid that comes out, then with a knife chop some more cabbage roughly and add, this adds crunch.

Make a dressing with a mixture of  a little rice wine vinegar, lots of mayonnaise, a tablespoon of good mustard and a splash of lemon/lime juice, to your taste and combine, sprinkle with a teaspoon of caraway seeds and cool the slaw in the fridge till needed.
