Easy to make Piandina flat breads

 


This recipe makes about six flat breads that are about 4 mm thick.
Mix 500 gm 00 Flour with 1/2 tsp bicarb of soda and1 tsp salt.
Your lard needs to be room temp or softish. 
Add 100 gm lard with 210 cl of warm water, mix and combine then knead and roll for about five mins.
Cover and leave for 30 mins.
Then roll out to a sausage and divide into six, then roll out to more or less circles.
Heat a frying pan without any oil to a medium heat and add your flat breads, cook for a few minutes and flip over, pierce any bubbles that appear with a fork. Turn till you are happy with the browning.
