Polish Style Sausage with Apple, Onions & Cider

This is a quick and tasty family filler with a bit of a twist, peel and core then slice some cooking apples, finely slice a few onions put them in a casserole dish, pour a can of light beer or cider over them, add a teaspoon of Dijon style mustard, a handful of sultanas, some sprigs of Thyme and a Bay leaf. Place your sausages on top and put in an over at 180 for about forty minutes, turn your sausages occasionally. Season .

Few onions
Pork sausages
Cider
Mustard
Sultanas
Herbs

I served this with fried mashed potato and some sauerkraut.
