Pasta with Cream, White Wine, Bacon and Parmesan


Awesome plate of fantastic flavours made in minutes. This dish is all about layering flavours added individually, try it.

Ingredients

Pasta
Bacon
Mushrooms
Parmesan
Double Cream
White Wine

Put the kettle on for your pasta.

Melt a little butter and add a little olive oil, clean your mushrooms but keep intact, spoon a little butter/oil mixture into their middle and add them to the pan flat side down, add the storks. Cook them for a few minutes at a lowish heat.

Put some bacon slices under a hot grill. Your pasta should be in.

Add some sliced garlic to the pan, and brown. Add a large glass or so of white wine, bring to a simmer, when the wine starts to reduce, turn down.

Add a ladle of water from your pasta, add some cream and stir, add some finely grated parmesan and season.

Drain your pasta and add to the pan. Serve as above with crumbled bacon, more parmesan and lots of black pepper.
