How to cook Minute Steaks and make a quick butter sauce, in err minutes
This is really technique rather than recipe. Minute steaks are one minute per side for medium rare, but if they are cheap ones from the co-op then really thirty seconds is enough, in the two minutes the steaks rest you make your sauce, it really is that quick.So prep: mix half a mug of beef stock with a good squirt of BBQ sauce, some hot sauce to taste and a lump of butter.
Get your pan really hot using a high heat oil like rapeseed, add your steaks and time them, turn over, remove and wrap in tin foil. Add the mug to the pan and stir for a minute, then serve.
Above served on toast, with caramelised tomatoes, and spring onions.
