Pasatempos




Pasatempos translates as 'pass the time', and sitting and nibbling a bowl of these roasted salted pumpkin seeds is a really good way of doing just that. And what a treat they are.

Any squash seeds are fine, just wash in warm water, and remove the stingy bits, pat dry then put on a heated tray with olive oil in the oven, liberally shake some good salt over and lightly brown.

Best not to tell anyone you have made them and just enjoy as the cooks bonus.
