Beef curry with prunes and potatoes, Gosht Aloo Bukhara Recipe
This is a sumptuous hot, sweet and sour curry, 'aloo gosht' means 'potatoes meat' here cooked with prunes which are apparently similar to 'bukhara' which are Indian plums. This dish comes from Bangladesh or Pakistan. It's a very unusual curry and it's flavours and spices illuminate your taste buds, it's an incredible dish.

Method
Brown your beef and brown your diced onions, add the first set of spices and fry for a few minutes, then add the tomatoes and as they soften add the second set of spices, stir another minute and then add water to cover the curry, simmer for an hour. Then add your potatoes and prunes and simmer until the pots and beef are done, about half an hour.
