Cincinnati Chilli

After a hard day making tyres in the plant in Ohio your average Ohions or Buckeyes, yes that's what they are called add pounds to their huge bellies without regard to diabetes by consuming gallons of this stuff served would you believe over hot dogs or on top of spaghetti with mounds of coloured cheese.

And okay this recipe is a damn good chilli, in Ohio all the ingredients would be thrown in a pan and simmered for a couple of hours, I fried the onions and mince. So add garlic to the onions and mince then cumin, paprika, oregano, chilli powder, all spice, clove, bay leaf, cider vinegar, sugar, worcester sauce, tin toms, puree, beef stock, fresh chillies, bubble for a while, add red kidney beans, bubble longer.

Warning, this is a drinking dish, to be consumed late following many tins of beer, and a little dancing to Cincinnati's Isley Bros, sleep follows. In the morning you awake to a rather fab smell of chilli because you left the ring on, and the remainder is now carbon...

Below is a good example of what Ohions turn out like..
