Three bean curry (V)



This is food for the soul, packed with protein, powered with potent spices yet hardly any ingredients, great as a side dish for a curry night but stands up served as a main, and makes you feel better with every mouthful.

Ingredients

Three tins of beans, i.e red kidney, borlotti, butter bean
Tin Toms
Onions
Garlic
Spices

Method

Fry gently chopped onions and two cloves of chopped garlic, add a teaspoon of turmeric, gran masala, cumin, chilli to taste, stir about and when the spices have had about 30 seconds add tomatoes, half a mug of water and a teaspoon of sugar. Allow to bubble away for ten mins. Add washed and drained beans, simmer for fifteen mins. Enjoy
